Putnam County Emergency Services Center
Prior to merging with Pickering Associates in 2016, Associated Architects was hired by Putnam County to design a new 911 Command Center. The project team worked with the County Administrator and project stakeholders to make this project a success for Putnam County. The completed project cost was approximately $4.9 million.

Our Process
The new 11,000 SQ FT facility provides a large scale EOC room, training rooms, office spaces and an EMC bunk/living facility.
The new facility provides a large scale EOC room, training rooms, office spaces and an EMC bunk/living facility. The adjacent building provides a service garage for emergency response vehicle repairs and storage.
The work consists of rough grading of the site, finished grading of the site, installation of storm water drainage system; installation of plumbing, trench drains etc. The work also includes the construction of a masonry and cold-formed metal building and a pre-fabricated metal building and the necessary foundation systems to support the buildings.
The work also includes the installation of wiring, electrical equipment, electrical boxes, water lines and all mechanical systems shown on the drawings. The work includes plumbing, plumbing fixtures, doors, door hardware, chain link fence and all amenities shown on the drawings or specified in the technical specifications. The access roads to the site, including pavement for the roads and parking areas, and stripping of the parking area are also part of the contract. The project team, worked with the County Administrator and project stakeholders to make this project a success for Putnam County.
