  • Development of a Secure Entrance
  • Repair of miscellaneous structural repairs throughout the Elementary and Middle School

After approval by the School Board, Phase 2 of the project was commenced, Construction Drawing Development and Administration of the various Construction Contracts.

During design it was decided to bid the project separately to maximize funding sources. One project was funded with Federal money while other were able to be financed through other means and requirements.

Pickering Associates provided weekly observations on all projects and conducted progress meetings to keep the General Contractor in check with WCS and Pickering Associates expectations on scope, budget, and schedule. Pickering Associates also expedited select equipment to keep the project on schedule. There were zero change orders for design and minimal requested change orders for owner requested items. Project was completed on budget and schedule.
