Drilling Pad Design

Our Process
Pickering Associates has a highly experienced team that can provide sediment and erosion control methods, and environmental permitting assistance.
Once the site was selected, Pickering Associates provided a short access road to gain access to the site. Both construction and Erosion and Sediment Control drawings were created for the client. Pickering Associates also investigated if any additional permits were needed and provided a topographical survey which included the location of applicable existing utility structures, and utility details of all water, sewer, gas, power, and communication lines.
The client also requested a design for storm-water drainage, grading, and road alignment. Once the construction was considered to be in compliance, a construction certification letter of the drilling pad and access road was created and submitted to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection.
