Justin Womack has been a member of the Pickering Associates for the past two years. He celebrates his second anniversary with us this coming June. Justin is a member of our Piping Engineering Department as a Senior Pipe Designer. Justin has had an exciting journey before coming to Pickering Associates; he initially was an assistant professor at WVU for mechanical engineering, “I taught MAE 241 as an undergraduate. My post-graduate work was for the National Geospatial Development Center through a collaborative of WVU and the Department of Agriculture” said Justin. From there he started working at CDI Engineering in their piping group and transitioned to part-time when he began teaching math classes at Parkersburg South High School. In the summer of 2017, Justin started at Pickering Associates and decided to remain here full-time.
Outside of work Justin and his wife coach Parkersburg South Crew rowing team. “Though this side project is very time consuming, we find it to be gratifying,” said Justin. Justin and his wife have a 10-year-old daughter, Izzy, who is a cheerleader for OVA and plays softball for Mineral Wells. When asked what Justin’s favorite thing is about working here at Pickering Associates, he responded, “The people! Most amazing and hard-working folks I have ever had the privilege to be associated with.” Congratulations to Justin as he celebrates his 2nd anniversary with us this June and thanks to you for all of your hard work!
