Have you ever purchased too many Christmas Cards one year, and forgot to use them the next? Don’t throw them away. Recycle and reuse them to spread a little cheer this holiday season. At Pickering we have devoted ourselves to be an Eco-Friendly and community service-based company, and this year we decided to take those values and use them to spread some Holiday Cheer. Every year thousands of young men and women risk their lives to fight for our freedom overseas. Sadly, soldiers don’t get a holiday break or day off from the office to hang out with the family. Most of our serving military don’t get the chance to see their families on the holidays for years at a time.
That is why we got involved with the Military Mail campaign efforts. We are recycling Christmas cards within the company and every team member is filling out a card to send overseas to a solider away from home on the holidays. To plan and send such efforts takes time. That is why we have committed ourselves this summer to completing this campaign so that there is enough time to get all the cards shipped by the holiday season.
