The Mid-Ohio Valley’s premier full-service architecture and engineering firm is commemorating its silver anniversary; Pickering Associates celebrates 25 years in the business community this week. The firm was founded in 1988 as an engineering firm that has developed into an integrated architecture and engineering company providing services in education, government, healthcare, industrial, oil and gas and private sector clients.

The strength of Pickering Associates rests in the highly qualified personnel. It is through the professionals that the firm has gained a reputation for the delivery of a superior service evidenced by an extremely high rate of repeat business.

“We could not be more excited, honored and blessed to be able to reach our 25th anniversary,” explains Pickering Associates President Ryan Taylor. “But the best part is that we can take such pride in our work. Our professionals are so dedicated, so focused and so driven that we can look back on the past 25 years and be proud of every moment, every project and every piece of our history. That is a rarity anymore, and it’s one of the many aspects that continue to make Pickering Associates unique.”

Successfully executing more than more than 10,000 projects in its history, Pickering Associates has built a tremendous wealth of experience gaining insight into what works for each of our client types. Those lessons learned add substance to the firm’s work and provide clients with unparalleled value.

“The respect and appreciation we have for our clients cannot be overstated. They’ve put us on the map and kept us there for 25 years,” Taylor continues. “Knowing clients like Camden Clark Medical Center, Marietta Memorial Hospital, Wood County Schools, Marietta College, Ohio University, Ohio Valley University, Washington County, the City of Vienna, the City of Marietta and many others recognize our hard work and continue to request our services means the world to us and it says a great deal about our company.”

Pickering Associates will celebrate its anniversary at a private party where they will also celebrate the life of Charles Edward “Bud” Pickering, who passed away on October 12th, 2013. Bud Pickering was instrumental in the success of Pickering Associates.
