Pickering Associates is proud to announce the promotions of Zachary Campbell, PMP to Vice President of Projects and Mark Welch, P.E. to Vice President of Construction. During their tenure with Pickering Associates, both Zac and Mark have contributed and managed various successful projects. Both of the new Vice President’s are passionate about helping clients attain their objectives, realize their vision, and do so without compromising schedule or budgetary constraints.
As Vice President of Projects, Zac will provide leadership, strategic vision, and guidance to Project Managers and Design Professionals on the Pickering Associates team while managing client expectations. As Vice President of Construction, Mark will provide leadership, knowledge, and oversight to Construction Administrators to deliver consistent construction management services.
Zac Campbell, PMP, Vice President of Projects
Zac received his Project Management Professional Certification in 2013 and holds a Masters of Science in Engineering Management from Marshall University. Zac has been with Pickering Associates for 11 years and was formerly the Electrical Engineering Department Manager and a Senior Project Manager. “I have been blessed to work with several particularly talented individuals who have helped shape my approach to our clients and their objectives,” says Zac. “I am excited to start the next chapter of my career and continue to be a part of this great firm. It truly is a special place to come to work every day.”
The Vice President of Projects is a vital role in the continued growth and service of Pickering Associates. It focuses on the daily project management of the company’s single and multi-discipline projects allowing Ryan Taylor, President, and CEO, to concentrate on the overall Vision and growth of Pickering Associates.
Mark Welch, P.E., Vice President of Construction
Mark received his Professional Engineering license in 2010 and holds a Masters of Science in Engineering Management from Marshall University. Mark was previously a leader to the Civil & Structural Engineering Departments and most recently assigned to special projects in the Project Management department of the company. Mark has been with Pickering Associates for 13 years and has been an intricate part of contributing to Pickering Associates growth as a company. “It has been my pleasure to work with multiple Clients throughout the years in the Engineering and Project Management areas of a project. I will now have the honor of using those experiences to help Clients see our designs become a reality in the construction aspect of a project,” says Mark. “I look forward to continuing to grow our Construction Administration team and to develop relationships with Clients throughout the tri-state area.”
As Vice President of Construction, Mark will lead the Construction Administration division and oversee the development and constructability of projects. This position is focused on overseeing and further grow Pickering Associates’ Construction Administration Department. As a Full-Service firm, we believe in seeing a project from start to finish, and this position will allow our team to enhance the services we currently provide.
